Council extends invitation to all for fair

Members of the Clay County 4-H Council are extending an invitation to all organizations/groups who wish to display products during the Clay County Fair.

This year's fair is scheduled for July 15-22.

AMAX Building exhibitors are scheduled from Saturday, July 16, to Thursday, July 23.

Exhibitors are required to have exhibits open for the weekend, providing more exposure for products.

The building is approximately 40-feet wide by 160-feet long. There are multiple overhead and service doors on each wall of the building, which must be kept accessible for fire codes. Aisles will be open on either side of the center booths.

Electricity will be available during exhibition hours only.

All exhibitors must abide by all Indiana State Fire Codes, which include, but are not limited to: Open access to all doors/exits, tape all gas tank lids, minimal amount of gas in any tractors, vehicles, appliances and detach one battery cable for all gas powered engines.

Interior booth space will be approximately 8-by-8 feet.

The fee stated is for one booth space.

No tables or chairs are provided.

Cost for booth space rental is $85.

Exterior booth space is located on the west and south sides of the building.

Exhibitor parking is available on the ordinary parking areas of the fairgrounds. Handicapped parking is available on the north side of the AMAX Building.

The AMAX Building will be open at 2:50 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, and at 4:50 p.m., on weekdays.

The building will close at approximately 9:30 p.m., each evening.

Exhibits are to be removed Thursday, July 21, in the evening.

The building will be secured during closed hours. However, the Clay County 4-H Council and 4-H program are not responsible or liable for any loses by theft, fire, injuries or damages.

Reservations for exhibit space are honored as the reservation form and payment are received.

Reservations are on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Refunds will not be provided if cancellation is not received by July 6.

Placement of tents and/or exhibits in any other place on the Clay County Fairgrounds is subject to approval of the Clay County 4-H Council.
