Trustee's Office offering fans to those in need

Sunday, June 12, 2011

The Brazil Township Trustee's Office, 4 W. National Ave., assists Brazil and Brazil Township residents who require support and aid in times of emergency need.

The office is asking for the help of local businesses and residents in a project which will assist many residents.

The Trustee's Office plans to provide electric fans to those without air conditioning this summer. The fans will be provided to those families with elderly residents, small children, those with breathing difficulties and families with no air conditioning.

The office is requesting that area businesses and individuals donate as many new fans as possible for the project. The office is not asking for monetary donations.

Fans should be donated and the office will pick up the fans or they may be dropped off at the office.

Township residents in need of a fan may call or come to the office and place their names on a list. Fans will be distributed as soon as possible as they are received at the office.

For further information, call the Trustee Office at 446-9511.

T.J. Sneddon, this is a great program for the people of Clay County! I am proud of you and all you are doing for the community. I hope that you can convince some of the other Trustees in the county to get on board with the program! Nice job T.J.

PLEASE ADVISE: Has Clay County established a "Tire Amnesty Day" for 2011? If a day has been selected, please advise when and where? Thanks.

Big Thank You to T.J. Sneddon for all he is doing. He is a very caring person. He was always one of the nicest people, when he worked at the Brazil Post Office. Always helpful and very friendly. May God Bless You!

What a good idea. I can't imagine the hot summer with no air and no fans. Thanks TJ.
