Kreely Gracen Smock, (above) daughter of Seth and Megan Smock, Brazil, was named the 2010 Clay County 4-H Fair Baby Photo Contest winner. The contest is sponsored by the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Brazil.
The Crisis Pregnancy Center of Brazil (CPC) will once again sponsor its annual Baby Photo Contest fundraiser during the 2011 Clay County 4-H Fair.

Prizes, donated by local merchants, will include a $50 savings bond for the grand prize winner and various other prizes for the winner and the two runners-up.

Entries will be accepted beginning Wednesday, June 15, and must be post-marked no later than midnight July 14.

To participate, babies must have been born on or after Jan. 1, 2010, and have not been a winner in a previous contest.

The photo should be no larger than 5-by-7 inches, and must have the baby's name and date of birth on the back, along with the parent's names, address and phone number.

All photos will be returned by mail after the contest.

Children of CPC volunteers, staff or board members are not eligible.

A $2 entry fee must accompany the entry form and photo.

Voting will take place at the CPC Booth in the AMAX Building during the 4-H Fair and will begin at 5 p.m., Saturday, July 16, and end at 9 p.m., Thursday, July 21.

Donations are made that represent votes. Babies with the most money donated will win the prizes as distributed by the CPC. All donations benefit the Crisis Pregnancy Center of the Wabash Valley.

Entry forms will be available at the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Brazil, 20 N. Meridian St., Brazil, Monday-Thursday, from noon-5 p.m. Entry forms will also appear in The Brazil Times and the Clay City News.
