Steven England, 61, Staunton, passed away unexpectedly June 13, 2011, at 5:23 p.m., in the emergency room of St. Vincent Clay Hospital.

He was born March 1, 1950, in Merimont, Ohio, the son of Virgil and Juanita Fishback England. He graduated from Bethel Tate High School, then continued his education at Kentucky Christian University. Steve was baptized in May 1966 and was ordained Sept. 19, 1971.

On Dec. 30, 1972, he was united in marriage to Janeece Holt England and together they entered into a lifetime of service to the Lord. Steve had 28 years of located ministry serving at Surprise Christian Church, Surprise, Ind., Christian Heritage Chapeld Salem, Ind., and at Staunton Christian Church. In 2002, Missionary Relief Services was started with Steve and Janeece living in Africa for five years, India for one year and several other countries.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years Janeece England, Staunton, daughter Rebekah Joy Collins and one granddaughter Trinity Jade Collins, his mother Juanita England, Bethel, Ohio, three sisters Barbara Wyatt and husband Whitlow, Linda Kilgore, Ohio, and Debbie Rice, Arkansas, one brother James England and wife Connie, all of Ohio, several nieces and nephews and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, at 1 p.m., at Union Christian Church, 5350 E. Hulman Dr., Terre Haute, with Pastor Mark Grayless officiating. Visiting with family will be on Saturday, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at the church. At his request, cremation was chosen. Graveside services will be at Mound Cemetery, Willow Hill, Ill., at 5 p.m., EST, also on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Foreign Missions at Union Christian Church to support missions in Zimbabwe Africa where Steve and Janeece served. Envelopes will be available at the church.
