The following is information regarding area reunions as provided to The Brazil Times:

Mother of All Reunions

Every year since 1998, alumni of Brazil High School graduating classes from 1950-59 get together for a huge reunion at Forest Park.

The pitch-in picnic-style event occurs, rain or shine, on the third Saturday each June and starts at 11 a.m. This year, the event will take place Saturday.

Lunch will be at noon, but come early. A few hours of fellowship will take place following lunch.

The event will take place at the north end of the Cow Palace.

Bring a camera and memories. Bring significant others.

Those attending are encouraged to bring a covered dish with something in it. Paper plates and plastic forks will be provided. Table service is asked to be brought as well as non-alcoholic beverages.

Minnick-Crabb Reunion

The Minnick-Crabb reunion will take place at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, at the Harmony Diner.

Brunette/Bussing Family Reunion

Saturday, June 25, the Brunette/Bussing Family Reunion will commence with bowling and a pizza party at Vigo Bowling Lanes, 210 S. 9 St., Terre Haute, at 5 p.m.

Cost is $2.85 per game per person. Shoe rental will be free. Bowl as much as you want and then meet and greet family members.

On Sunday, June 26, a pitch-in lunch will take place at Shelter No. 9 in Forest Park.

Fried chicken will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish, salad or dessert to share.

Lemonade and iced tea will be provided. There will also be games for everyone.

Nichols Reunion

The Nichols Reunion will take place at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, June 26, at Forest Park.

Come and share the good food and fellowship of our family.

Tiefel Reunion

The Tiefel reunion will take place Sunday, June 26.

A pitch-in dinner has been scheduled for 1 p.m.

The reunion will take place at the Senior Citizen Building on Main Street in Clay City.

Entrances to the building are in the front and back.

Those attending are encouraged to bring any memorabilia they would like to share, i.e., photos, newspaper articles, etc.

BHS Class of 1971

The Brazil High School Class of 1971 will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a reunion Saturday, July 2.

The milestone reunion of Red Devils will take place at the Renaissance Banquet and Conference Center, on the corner of National Avenue and Franklin Street, Brazil.

The evening of recollections will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7.

A class photo will be taken prior to dinner.

This is the last call for the reunion. Checks of $20 (single) or $35 (for two) are needed by June 17.

Morton and Grace (Robertson) Butt Reunion

The reunion for descendants of Morton and Grace (Robertson) Butt will take place Saturday, July 9, at the northeast corner of the Forest Park Pavilion.

A carry-in basket dinner will take place at noon.

Drinks will be furnished.

Those attending are asked to bring covered dishes as well as table service.

Although tables and benches are provided, lawn chairs may add comfort for those attending the reunion.

Northview Class of 1986

Plans are underway for the 25th reunion of the Northview High School class of 1986.

The reunion will take place July 9, at the Renaissance Hall, 101 W. National Ave., Brazil.

Social hour will be from 6-7 p.m., with the meal beginning at 7.

There will be entertainment following dinner.

There is also a family day being planned for Sunday, July 10.
