Lost dog calls out for owners from shelter

Do you know me?

I am lost and living in the shelter for now. It was such a hot day and I had just gone for a refreshing swim when the shelter van drove up.

Being a friendly girl, I walked right up and found myself being loaded into the van. I just keep watching and waiting for my family to come and get me.

Every time someone walks toward me, I cock my head and raise my hears, hoping, hoping and hoping that it is someone from my family.

The shelter found me at the Staunton Fishing Area. The people driving the van went to houses in the area looking for my owners, but no one recognized me. I surely belong to someone as I am in good condition and I am also a good listener and give loads of kisses.

I really need to go home so if someone reading this recognizes me, please tell my owners that I need them and love them. I know they love me and need me to come home qickly.

Oh yes, my new name is Esther, after the swimmer Esther Williams. I am having a hard time getting used to my new name. I really would just like my old name back.

Anxiously awaiting.

I certainly hope the owners come get this beautiful animal .. and that she wasn't just dumped off. :*(

She needs a nice family with a large yard or woods behind their house. Wish I could take her.
