Angel Food orders may be picked up Saturday, at Eastside Christian Church.
The Clay County Republican Club will host a breakfast at the YMCA of Clay County, 225 E. Kruzan St., Brazil, Saturday, at 9 a.m.
The topic of the breakfast will be one of the hot topics facing the nation -- the federal budget.
Those attending will learn what is going on in the Budget Committee with the debate. Congressman Marlin Stutzman, member of the Budget Committee, will discuss the budget and other issues facing the nation.
The breakfast will consist of a buffet of breakfast casserole, pancakes, fruit and drinks.
Cost is $5.
Habitat for Humanity of Clay County will host a yard sale Saturday, from 9 a.m.-noon, in front of Clover Signs on United States 40.
Donations have been coming in for the sale. Items that will be available include an entertainment center, sofa beds, dressers, end tables, coffee table and a bed.
Donations also include a set of dishes, ceramic cookware, a carving set, throws, afghan, boys' clothes, women's shoes, coolers, clothing, home furnishings and more.
The Clay County Democrats will conduct a hog roast Saturday at the Forest Park Pavilion.
Serving will begin at 4 p.m.
Tickets cost $5 for adults and children under 12 will be admitted free.
Terry White and Dave Crooks, both running for Indiana's 8th District Congressional Seat, will be present.
Pork Chops and ...
The Fontanet Action Community Team (F.A.C.T.) will conduct a pork chop dinner Saturday, from 4-8 p.m., at the Fontanet Community Center.
Cost is $7 for the meal.

The 56th Center Point Volunteer Department Fish Fry will take place Saturday.
The event will take place at the firehouse, located on Main Street in Center Point, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Two serving lines are planned and there will be drive-thru pickup at the rear of the firehouse.
The meal will consist of Jonah Club fried fish, baked beans, handmade slaw, green beans, apple sauce, homemade pies and cakes, and iced tea or coffee.
Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children.
A dunking booth will be on display as well as a ring toss and a children's area.
In addition, a heavyweight horse pull will begin at 8 p.m.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the fire department.
The Community Theatre of Clay County recently announced auditions for its fall musical production of "Schoolhouse Rock Live."
Auditions will take place at the Lark Theater, 8 E. National Ave., Brazil, Sunday, at 2 p.m.
