Viola P. Summers, 85, Brazil, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Exceptional Living Center, Brazil.

She was born March 1, 1926, in Brazil, as the daughter of Maurice and Cordilia Bass Wetnight.

Viola loved playing bingo, crocheting, bird watching and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She also loved watching her soap operas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Orville Summers, grandson Robert W. Newport, sisters Lillian Minnick, Maude Statts, Mable Miller, and Malinda Neville, and brothers Charles, Robert, Thomas, Morris, Orville and Raymond Wetnight.

She is survived by her children DeLores (Jr.) Woods, Fred (Marla) Summers, Leah Stough, Roseanna (Larry) Waggle, and Bill Summers, adopted son Kenny Waggle, grandchildren DeAnn (Shane) Jones, Johnnie Walton, Jeff Stough, Larry Waggle Jr., Keith Waggle, Greg Waggle and Mike Waggle, several great-grandchildren and other extended family.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday, June 27, at Moore Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, with Rick Wetnight officiating.

Cremation will follow the services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
