Three unidentified people sustained "minor injuries" during a two-vehicle rear-end collision Thursday afternoon near the entrance of Forest Park, at the intersection of State Road 59 and Nabuca Drive. Members of the Brazil City Police and Fire departments, TransCare Ambulance and the Clay County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene shortly after 3 p.m. According to officials, the driver of the SUV reported she was allegedly unable to avoid hitting the car, which was stopped and attempting to turn into the drive at Village Apartments. The damaged SUV was towed away, while a family member was allowed to remove the car from the accident scene. Further information about the accident was not released as of press time.
