Carole Ann Harlan, 64, Jasonville, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

She was born July 22, 1946, in Brazil, to Cecil McKee and Modell (Morris) McKee.

Survivors include her daughter Ronda Batchelor and Roy Cooksey Jr., Brazil, son and daughter-in-law Donny and Shannon Harlan, Jasonville, mother Modell McKee, Jasonville, brothers and sisters-in-law Jerry and Shirley McKee, Clyde, Ohio, and Steve and Connie McKee, Jasonville, sisters and brothers-in-law Linda and Jim Crosby, Lewis, Gwen and Jamie Gonzalez, Elgin, Ill., Kathy and Alva Eldridge, Brazil, Patty and Barry Dyer, Clay City, and Peggy and Kurt Sowers, Clay City, grandchildren Jebadia, Joesiya, Jerimia, Ray, Kyle and Kacie, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Carole attended the 7th Day Adventist Church of Lewis. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and all her children and enjoyed gardening and crocheting.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 S. Meridian St., Jasonville, with visitation scheduled from 11 a.m., until time of service Friday, at the Cox Funeral Home.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2011, at the funeral home, with Pastor Ernie Peckem officiating.

Interment will be at Stephens Cemetery, Lewis.
