Judy Ann Shaffer Reynolds, 59, Terre Haute, formerly of Seelyville and Brazil, died Sunday, July 10, 2011, in Union Hospital.
She was born June 22, 1952, in Camp Cooke, Calif., to Larry E. Shaffer and Loretta M. Smith Shaffer.
Judy retired early in life due to health reasons, but while working, she was a chef at Kleptz Restaurant, a secretary at Columbia Records, worked at Moore's Store in Brazil, was a realtor and secretary for Bell Realty in Brazil, and worked in customer service at Columbia House.
Survivors include her husband David C. Reynolds, daughter Anastasia Winderlich and husband Blake, grandchild Genevieve Rose Winderlich, mother Loretta M. Shaffer, brother Kenneth E. Shaffer and wife Marilyn, nephew Ryan J. Shaffer, niece Marissa A. Shaffer, all of Terre Haute, aunt Freda Sterchi, Quincy, and several cousins also from Quincy.
She was preceded in death by her father Larry E. Shaffer, and her grandparents Evan J. and Katherine L. Smith.
Judy graduated from Staunton High School, was on the Dean's List in College and attended Culinary School at Ivy Tech. She had been fighting cancer for three years at the American Cancer Treatment Center in Zion, Ill.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2011, in Callahan and Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th St., with Rev. Aaron Wheaton officiating. Burial will be in Clearview Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 2-4 p.m., Wednesday.
