She was born in Cottage Hills, Ill., Dec. 10, 1968, the daughter of Harry "Pete" E. and Betty L. (Sawyer) Foster.
Oma graduated from Northview High School with the class of 1986. She had worked as a cashier at several area gas stations and at LEAR corporation in Greencastle and as a manager at Family Dollar.
Since she married Doug Luedeman, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Sawyer, Grandpa Harris, Uncle Mike and Uncle Dave Foster, cousin Casey Roberson, her great-grandma Ina Wilbanks and other aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her husband Douglas Luedeman and son Mathew Luedeman, Mother and Father Pete and Betty Foster, Grandma Alda Harris, Harrisburg, Ill., sisters Terri Mullens and husband Doug, Terre Haute, and Debbie Bowles and Phil, brother James (Bub) Foster and Tony (Tone) Foster and Kristina, Brazil, and several nieces and nephews.
She was loved by many people and she had many young people that loved her too. Donations will be greatly appreciated.
Saturday, July 23, the family is having a pitch-in dinner celebration of Oma Lou Foster Luedeman's Life.
The gathering will take place at the Jackson Township Firehouse, at noon.
