Samuel was born Jan. 2, 1961, the son of Samuel E. Hillenburg and Wanda (Hassler) Friday.
Samuel graduated from Brazil High School in 1979.
He worked at a local printing company until moving to Indianapolis and then to Clearwater.
He worked as a manager at Applebee's restaurant for 20 years as well as working as a Fed Ex delivery driver.
Samuel enjoyed spending his free time with friends and traveling.
Samuel was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and an aunt.
He is survived by his mother, sister Tawny L. Hillenburg, Indianapolis, Roxanne Goff and husband Vern, California, half-brothers Mark and Martin Hood, Georgia, niece Rachel Hardman, Indianapolis, nephews Ryan Wilson, Kentucky, Austin and Andrew Hood, Indianapolis, six great-nephews, uncle John W. Hillenburg (Kimberley), aunts Judy (Hassler) Bradley, and Georgia Day (Steven) and numerous cousins.
As Samuel had requested he was cremated at the Indianapolis crematorium and a private family memorial took place July 20. His ashes were buried at the Poland Cemetery.
