Ted was born March 13, 1925, in Center Point, to Russell and Reba Redenbarger.
Ted graduated from Brazil High School in 1942.
He entered Purdue University and proceeded into World War II as an Air Force navigator.
After flying 27 bombing missions over Germany, he returned to Purdue, where he graduated in 1949 with a mechanical engineering degree.
Ted started his career at Detroit Diesel Division of General Motors, where he worked more than 32 years as the Chief Project Engineer on numerous projects and retied in 1981.
Ted loved all sports, especially those played by the Purdue Boilermakers. His favorite activity was playing golf. He also loved to hunt and fish. Ted was a member of Ulen Country Club in Lebanon, Ind., and Spring Lake Country Club in Sebring, Fla.
Ted is survived by his loving wife Marilyn, sons Ned (Stephanie) Arvada, Colorado, and Jim (Jan) Golden, Colorado, step-children Gary Baron (Barbara), New York City, Debbie Thompson (Rob) Powhatan, Va., and Richard Baron, Westmin-ster, Calif., three grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, and brother Joe Redenbarger (Janice), Brazil.
One son, Russell, two brothers, Bill and Dick, and one half-brother, John Zurcher, preceded him in death.
A memorial service is being planned for November, in Sebring, Fla.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spring Lake Presbyterian Church, Sebring, Fla., and/or Connection Pointe Christian Church, Brownsburg.
