The American Legion Post 2 and its affiliates will sponsor a car wash at JD's car wash on National Avenue.
The event will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., today.

The Yesteryear Power Club will conduct its annual show event today, at Goshorn Park in Clay City.
Tractors, trucks, cars, engines, old iron of any kind (restored or unrestored) will be free to show or sell.
Door prizes will be given all day. In addition, there will be a free ham and beans dinner at noon.
A tractor parade and poker run are also scheduled as well as tractor games after the parade.

A&W Root Beer Restaurant, 12 Main St., Clay City, will sponsor a Bike Night from 5-9 p.m., today.
A 50-50 drawing will take place to support Youth for Christ and the Rock.
Also, eight Harley Davidson motorcycles will be given away by A&W at the national level, with the winning peel off tickets located on drink cups.
A DJ will play music in the parking lot.
Ice Cream Social
The annual North Union United Methodist Church Ice Cream Social will take place at 7 p.m., today.
The church is located at the Clay-Vigo County line on State Road 42.
Sandwiches, homemade ice cream and desserts will be offered, as will a salad bar.

RideTheWind will host a Summer Splash today, from 8-10 p.m., at the Forest Park Pool.
The event is free and the community is invited to the concert.
Swimming, games and prizes will be available.
Those interested in attending are asked to bring lawn chairs.

The Brazil Moose Lodge Riders will conduct a ride to raise funds for the Clay County Humane Society Sunday.
The ride is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., and riders will be back at approximately 4 p.m.
The lodge will be open later in the evening as Country 90 Proof will perform. In addition, a fish fry will take place. Cost is $6.

The Popcorn Festival of Clay County will continue its "Sunday's in the Park: Dinner and A Concert," Sunday from 5-7:30 p.m., at the Forest Park Pavilion.
The dinner will feature Reuben sandwiches, made by guest chef and Clay County Prosecutor Lee Reberger.
In addition, the menu will consist of corn relish, German potato salad, homemade desserts, iced tea, lemonade or water.
Cost is $8 for adults. Children 10-under will be admitted for $4.
