Habitat extends thanks for event

To the Editor:

Habitat for Humanity of Clay County sincerely appreciates the first "Cruising with Kroger," event, held for our benefit July 16, at Kroger, Brazil.

Jonathan Herbert, Adam Clark and additional Kroger employees ran a well-organized cruise-in.

Twenty-five classic vehicles were on display.

A special thanks is extended to all the owners who participants, all who attended and everyone who made donations.

The proceeds will be applied to building a home for Mary Ann Hoffman's family on Ridge Street in Brazil.
