Families are finding it hard to budget money to outfit growing children and purchase school supples.
With school around the corner, residents should consider checking out Community Partners Community Clothes Exchange.
With the help of the Brazil First Church of the Nazarene (BRAZ NAZ KIDZ KLOZET) in Brazil, there will be a clothing exchange for anyone in Clay County who would like to participate.
The clothing exchange is open for those who have items to trade or exchange and those who just may need items.
Any members of the community interested in trading will be asked to bring in clothes and/or shoes that are in good condition (no stains or tears) Tuesday, from 9-10 a.m., at the Brazil First Church of the Nazarene, 1002 E. National Ave.
For every item that a family donates or exchanges, the total will be placed on a "Blue Buck."
The Blue Bucks will allow those individuals to get a number of items during donor time.
They will also be able to pick items during the time that it is open to everyone.
Those individuals who are unable to donate or do not have any items to exchange will have an opportunity to get items when it is open to everyone.
Items that are going to be donated and/or exchanged must be washed and folded to save time the day of the event.
Any items that are left over will be donated to area food pantries and/or clothing closets.
The drop-off time is 9-10 a.m., while Blue Buck time is 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Everyone is invited from noon-2 p.m.

Families will also have an opportunity to gather more information pertaining to resources available to them in their communities and information pertaining to school supplies available to families.
