USS Indianapolis Memorial ceremony set

INDIANAPOLIS -- A ribbon cutting ceremony in honor of the USS Indianapolis Memorial Highway will take place at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 16.

The event will take place in conjunction with a wreath laying ceremony during Navy Week and will be conducted at the Indiana War Memorial, 431 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis.

After the ribbon cutting, ceremony guests will be invited to participate in a tour of the war memorial.
