TERRE HAUTE -- Honey Creek Mall is teaming up with 5R Processors, Ltd., Ladysmith, Wis., to help Terre Haute and the surrounding communities properly dispose of household electronics and equipment.
The business will be set up in the Sears parking lot at Honey Creek Mall Saturday, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., where it will accept any old or obsolete electronics equipment.
Additionally, 5R will provide Department of Defense approved hard drive cleansing for only $10.
The event is open to the public and 5R is accepting residential equipment only.
The company will accept most consumer electronics and home office equipment, including computers, monitors, laptops, printers, televisions, cell phones, microwaves, white goods and more.
Freon containing units such as refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and dehumidifiers will not be accepted.
