Mitchell Baker is the president of both clubs and plays a large roll in the annual show.
Baker said the air show is named after Don May, an early member of the Terre Haute R/C Club who died of muscular dystrophy in 1989.
Baker has been involved with both clubs since 2002.
Last year, the air show raised $450 for the MDA, an amount that Baker hopes to match or exceed this year.
Baker said there will be many different ways people can donate money at Sunday's air show.
"Pilots will be doing the air show, there will be a $10 landing fee (for the pilots who fly)," Baker said. "(There will be) concessions, a raffle and donations"
Baker said the air show featured 15 pilots last year, and he hopes there will be some full-size planes making appearances this year.
The Don May Air Show will take place Sunday, from noon-4 p.m., at the Brazil-Clay County Airport.
All are welcomed to attend the event.
