He is survived by his wife Millie Watson Maynard. Also surviving are two sons, Todd Maynard (and Sommar), and Aaron Maynard, as well as two step-daughters, Crystal Will (and Bill), and Kara Ashe. Other survivors include a sister, Ruth Ann Tooloose (and Donald), seven grandchildren, Lauren and Luke Maynard, Alyssa and Dalton Will, Bryan and Brayden Robison, and Ava Chambers, as well as the mother of his children, Linda Maynard, and two nephews, Jeff Glasgow (and Marcia), Scott Glasgow (and Angie), and one niece Kara Anderson (and Brad).
He was preceded in death by both parents. He retired from from Pfizer in 2001 after 36 years of service. His memberships include Abundant Life Worship Center of Clay City, and the Sullivan Elks Club, as well as the "Rinky Dinks" Wednesday morning golf league at the Sullivan Elks.
He also was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors and gardening.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at the Abundant Life Worship Center at 10 a.m., with Pastor Justin Bradley officiating.
Burial will follow in Farmersburg Westlawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, from 4-8 p.m., in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, and from 9-- 10 a.m., on Saturday in the church. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Abundant Life Worship Center, 600 E. Fourth St, Clay City, Ind., 47841 in his memory.
