United Way fall campaign kickoff set for Sept. 1

TERRE HAUTE -- The 2011 United Way of the Wabash Valley Fall Campaign will officially begin with its Campaign Kickoff Thursday, Sept. 1, at 8 a.m., at the Ohio Building.

The event will include free breakfast for attendees along with a keynote message from Indiana State University Football Coach Trent Miles and members of the ISU Football Team.

The results of the 24 Pilot Campaign Companies will be announced during the presentation.

Special speaker at the kickoff will be Ryan Daffer, a client of the YMCA of Clay County, who will discuss his story of his United Way experience with attendees.
