The following is a list of upcoming area events scheduled for Saturday and Sunday as provided to The Brazil Times:

Free Hair Cuts

Stadler's Barber Shop, 1919 Maple Ave., Terre Haute, will provide free hair cuts for all boys in grades Kindergarten through 12th-grade Saturday.

Office hours for the store are 7 a.m.-6 p.m.

Law enforcement vehicles will be at the establishment for children to see in addition to a bounce house and more.

Free hot dogs, chips and drinks will be given to children. Cost will be $1 for adults.

Girls will be admitted to the event, but the business will not provide hair cuts for females.

Time For Music!

Music will be performed at the Clay County Senior Citizen's Center Saturday as the country and western group Just Friends returns.

As usual, all are welcome. Doors open at 6 p.m., with music beginning at 7 and concluding at 9.

Sandwiches and dessert will be available for purchase.

Magical Dinner!

The Landing at Fort Harrison will present Philip Henry and the "Magical Dinner: Magical and Excitement for all ages," Sunday, Aug. 28.

Dinner will begin at 4:30 p.m., and the show will start at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $20.

The landing is located at 3350 N. 4th St., Terre Haute.

A portion of the ticket sales will benefit the Children's Bureau, Inc.

Dinner Time!

The Popcorn Festival of Clay County will continue its "Sunday's in the Park: Dinner and A Concert," Sunday, from 5-7:30 p.m., at the Forest Park Pavilion.

The Aug. 28 dinner will feature beef and noodles.

Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 10-under.
