Certain events in a person's life are hard to forget.

Some remember where they were when they learned about the Kennedy Assassination. Others remember Pearl Harbor.

And everybody remembers where he or she was on Sept. 11, 2001.

It's been 10 years since that fateful day, when terrorists attacked the United States.

With the 10-year anniversary approaching, The Brazil Times has decided to ask readers where and what their reaction was to that morning.

Tell us your story. Did 9/11 change your life? If so, how?

Some churches and local businesses will remember the tragic events during the weekend of Sept. 9-11. For example, Pappy's Bar-B-Que, 111 E. National Ave., Brazil, and Cloverleaf Healthcare, Knightsville, will conduct the annual Heroes Breakfast Saturday, Sept. 10, from 8-11 a.m.

In addition, Bee Ridge Congregational Christian Church will host its annual 9/11 "Thank You Dinner Memorial Service," Saturday, Sept. 10, from 5-8 p.m., at the Forest Park Pavilion.

The Brazil Times will be engineering a special publication to be released Friday, Sept. 9, to remember those brave souls who died that morning.
