The Linton Miners have had their struggles against the Northview boys' tennis team and it continued on Wednesday night as the Knights swept the Miners by a 5-0 score.
Northview hasn't lost to the Miners since before the 2006 season.
The No. 1 and No. 2 singles matches were competitive match-ups as Northview's Cole Watts battled past the Miners' Cody Kocher, 6-3, 6-4 and Bryce Britton came through with a 6-2, 6-3 win against Linton's Taylor Sloan.
The Knights' Garrett Baysinger cruised at No. 3 singles by a 6-0, 6-0 count against Curtis Cox and the No. 2 doubles match went to Northview's Alec Coughanowr and Devin Clark over Linton's Mitchell Cox and Zack McGill.
In the No. 1 doubles match it went to the wire before Skyler Holifield and Kyle Moore won a 6-2, 7-5 (5) decision against Linton's Ben Brown and Ben Boyd.
