The Northview girls' soccer team was unable to stem the offensive tide set forth by the visiting Danville Warriors on Wednesday evening, falling 10-0.
Danville's aggressiveness and overall speed proved to be great assets in setting up their offensive chances as junior Heather Siller and freshman Stephanie Burdsall each had hat tricks in the first half as Danville opened up a 7-0 lead.
The Warriors got going quickly in the second half as well, scoring less than five minutes in and then following with two more goals in the first 20 minutes to seal the victory.
The loss drops Northview to 3-3 overall and 1-0 in the WIC with a conference road trip to Sullivan on Sept. 7 for a boy/girl doubleheader at 5 p.m.
