A word from Lucas:
Dear friends and family,
On Saturday, Aug. 6, my good friend Brian Messer rode 100 miles on his bicycle to raise money for my family to buy a portable oxygen concentrator for me.
He rode from Lebanon, Ohio, to my family's house in South Vienna, Ohio. With a huge smile on his face, and a huge blessing to bestow, Brian rode up to the house and presented us with the fruits of his labor. Because of your generosity, we received nearly $8,000.
Thank you for your contribution to the 100 Mile Pedal For Lucas. Because of your support, we will be able to buy a portable oxygen concentrator and have plenty left over to help with other expenses we might face in our struggle with my disease.
Even thought I have been stricken with this terrible disease, the love, generosity and concern of friends, family and strangers in this struggle never ceases to amaze me. My family and I have been truly blessed by your prayers and support.
Thank you for your help.
Blessings,
Lucas Sampson,
South Vienna, Ohio
