Free seminar on growing revenue set for Sept. 22

Wednesday, September 7, 2011

CARBON -- The Carbon Post Office will offer a free seminar for those interested in growing their business.

With the number of consumers shopping online steadily growing, online sellers in the Wabash Valley will have increasing opportunities to grow revenues.

But overpaying on shipping costs can cut into profits.

And, for the inexperienced online merchants, shipping can sometimes be complicated.

The Carbon Post Office will conduct a free seminar called, "A Simpler Way to Ship Your Online Items," Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Carbon Town Hall, 14678 N. Locust St.

The event will run from 10 a.m.-noon.

Topics will include how to order free supplies, including packaging that is co-branded with the eBay logo, how to print labels online, how to save money with flat-rate packaging, how to request free package pickup, how to make returns trouble-free and more.

Postmaster Gloria Kruzan and Postmaster Relief Lynn Hughbanks will conduct the seminar along with Fontanet Postmaster Kent Kadel.

To reserve seating for the event, call 448-3112.
