Certified trainers of the Ruby Payne training, Annette Lawler and Karen Hinshaw, will present the full day workshop at the YMCA of Clay County, 225 E. Kruzan St., Brazil, from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Emphasis will be on developing foundation skills especially helpful to providers and businesses whose daily work connects them with the lives of people in poverty, as well as individuals and groups who are interested in assisting people living in poverty to succeed.

It provides proven, effective tools and insights that assist professionals and administrative staff of schools, churches, and agencies as they help clients move out of the restrictive circumstances imposed by poverty.

Registration is $10 per person, which includes handouts, lunch and breaks.
