Wabash Valley Asphalt said it will begin restricting westbound traffic in the right lane while crews strengthen the median shoulders.
The project on Interstate-70 is a patch and rehabilitation project from the bridge to SR 59. It was awarded to Wabash Valley Asphalt for $4.3 million.
It will have the interstate down to one lane in a four-mile work zone 24 hours a day, Sunday at 9 p.m., until Friday at noon.
The project is scheduled for completion Aug. 31, 2012.
