Open invitation to all local candidates

Sunday, September 25, 2011

To all candidates:

Let us at The Brazil Times be the first to congratulate you on your desire to serve your communities and wish you the best of luck in the upcoming election.

By deciding to serve, you have shown you have true dedication, love for your community and a desire to make your community a better place to live.

The Brazil Times has plans to run submitted articles from all prospective candidates through Friday, Oct. 21.

No candidate profiles will run beyond this date. The Brazil Times asks all candidates to submit articles by Monday, Oct. 17.

The Times also asks that profiles be limited to 250 words.

In addition, no profiles will run in Monday newspapers.

Contact us via telephone at 446-2216, Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., or by e-mail at scoop1j@gmail.com. Those running may also fax profiles to 812-446-0938.

Another key element to get the word out about your campaign would be using The Brazil Times to advertise and share information with residents.

The Brazil Times is published on Mondays, and Wednesday through Saturday.

Those running for office may also advertise at www.thebraziltimes.com, seven days a week.

Candidates interested in advertising should contact Cathy Fessenmeyer, John Adamson or Lynne Llewellyn at The Times' office, or via e-mail at brazilads@yahoo.com or lynnellewellyn@yahoo.com.

Again, thank you for your dedication and desire to serve your communities.

Good luck Nov. 8.
