Drivers will take their shiny cars a total of 90 miles, going through local bridges in honor of the year's theme, "Bridges Where the Raccoons Ramble."
"Our hope for the day is for blue skies, warm temperatures, colorful foliage, safe, trouble-free and enjoyable driving of our beloved Brit cars to see some of the covered bridges of Park, Putnam and Owen counties in Indiana," Tour Director Rob Blubaugh said before the tour. Blubaugh is a member of the Hoosier MG Club and encouraged anyone interested to join the club.
The tour will stop at both Bridgeton and Mansfield for a guided tour of the mill, the Greencastle town square for a group photo and just north of Greencastle to have lunch at Fairway Restaurant.
After lunch, the group plans to head west of Greencastle to the Dunbar Bridge and Edna Collins Bridge.
They will also drive through Houck Bridge, Reelsville, and Dick Huffman Bridge, Poland. In Cunot, the group will stop for pie, cake and other goodies served by children struggling to keep their community center open.
Some drivers may choose to end the tour there, while others may continue on to Cataract Falls State Recreation Area.
"We welcome anyone interested in antique British sports cars to come out," Blubaugh, originally from Bowling Green, said.
