Staunton United Methodist Church News

Thanks to everyone who helped make last Friday's chicken and noodle fundraiser a success.

The next Zumba session will be Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 5:30 p.m., in the church basement. Our pastor's wife, Diana Aselage, is a certified Zumba instructor, and leads the sessions. Everyone is invited to attend and donations go to benefit the church.

Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m., with church service following at 10:30. Scott Aselage is our Pastor and Glenna Simons is our pianist.

Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open in the church basement from 3-5 p.m., on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month. The next food pantry day will be Wednesday, Oct. 26. Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome. We appreciate the support of all the churches, schools, civic organizations and individuals who help make this needed outreach a success.
