The following is a list of upcoming area events as provided to The Brazil Times:

Halloween Craft Event

The Brazil Public Library will host a Halloween craft event Wednesday, Oct. 26.

Children ages 8-older are invited to the library between 6-7:30 p.m., to make a craft stick witch.

The event is free and open to the public.

Blood drive

Indiana Blood Center hosts hundreds of blood drives each month.

There will be a blood drive in Clay County in November.

The event will take place from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19, at Annunciation Church.

Concert

Music will be in store at the Senior Citizens Center, 120 S. Franklin St., Saturday night as the Country and Western group, "Just Friends" returns.

As usual everyone is welcome and doors open at 6 p.m., with music beginning at 7 and ending at 9.

For those wishing to eat, sandwiches and dessert will be available for purchase.

Rededication

The Poland Historical Chapel will have a rededication service Sunday, Oct. 23.

An open house will be from 1-2:45 p.m., followed by an old fashioned hymn sing until 3 p.m.

The service of rededication will then begin at 3.

Pumpkin Craft

The Brazil Public Library will host Pumpkin Craft Thursday, Oct. 27.

Children ages 7-under are welcome to the library between 6-7:30 p.m., to cut, color and glue a pumpkin craft. The event is free and open to the public.
