The Livery Stable Antique Mall is having a free luncheon Saturday, Oct. 15.

Wayne Brewer, one of the owners, will be presenting the history of the Eaglesfield Estate.

"We wanted to provide an opportunity for people who have an interest in the estate to learn about its history," Brewer said.

The presentation will include the history of the house, barn, motel and restaurant, as well as National Road and the local railroad. The first presentation will begin at 1:30 p.m., and the second will be at 3:30 p.m.

Free hotdogs and baked beans will be available.

There will also be flea markets and vendors set up outside the barn. Anyone is welcome to attend or stop by.

The Livery Stable Antique Mall is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

For those who might not know - the whereabouts of this place would be helpful. I believe it is east of Brazil on 40.

Back in the late 50's, early 60's, it was Hunt's restaurant and motel. And yes, it is east of Brazil on US 40.
