I feel I have fairly represented you by voting "yea" for anything that would benefit our city.
I supported the new city water tower and also the tower at I-70 with city financial aid, knowing this would be an incentive to new businesses.
I voted to support the S.O.S. project, and I also supported the new water system that is so desperately needed, as well as paving Pinckley Street.
The plan for the detention pond on South Murphy is in place. This is necessary before the state starts plans for paving United States 40.
We received a $150,000 grant for new lights down town after the 40 project is completed. The lights will be designed to enhance Historic Brazil.
The city has received a grant from the Indiana Department of Transportation to replace our old street signs. What an addition this will be to the city.
I supported the Revitalization Project that was aided with grant monies. To date, seven homes have been constructed and one rehabilitated.
I promise, if elected, I will vote "yea" for funding street repair. Several streets were completed last week, but there are a lot more to do, as you are aware. This is a top priority for me.
I have served as President of the Council, and I am President of the Brazil Planning Commission. I feel my experience is an asset.
Thank you and see you at the polls.
