County Trick or Treat times

Official Trick-or-Treat dates and times for the following cities include:

* Brazil -- Sunday, Oct. 30, and Monday, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.,

* Carbon -- Saturday, Oct. 29, 6:30-8:30 p.m.,

* Center Point -- Sunday, Oct. 30, and Monday, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.,

* Clay City -- Monday, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.,

* Knightsville -- Sunday, Oct. 30, and Monday, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.

* Harmony -- Sunday, Oct. 30, and Monday, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.,

* Poland -- Sunday, Oct. 30, 6-8 p.m., and

* Staunton -- Sunday, Oct. 30, and Monday, Oct. 31, 6-9 p.m.

According to officials, rural trick-or-treat hours are not scheduled, which allows parents to use their own discretion.

However, it is recommended parents follow the times and dates set forth by the closest community.

Just because they say these are the times, does that make it a law? Is there an actual ordinance written every year dictating the times for Trick or Treating? Just asking, wouldnt want some little kid thrown in the County Taj-Mahal because they got an extra Snickers bar.
