Clay Community School (CCS) board members met for a very brief special session board meeting Tuesday evening in the North Clay Middle School Media Center.
During the meeting, board members unanimously accepted the resignation of Forest Park Elementary Special Education teacher Jodie Sipes with a 5-0 vote.
There were originally two agenda items planned for the meeting, with the second being the consideration to name the new CCS chief financial officer.
However, the candidate being considered was unavailable.
Board members plan to discuss and vote on the employment issue at a later date.
CCS Board President Rob Miller and board member Jennifer Kaelber were not present at the meeting.
The next regular session CCS board meeting is slated for Thursday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m. The meeting is open to the public.
