The following is a list of upcoming area events scheduled for today and Sunday as provided to The Brazil Times:

Fall Bazaar

The Alter Society's Fall Bazaar will take place Saturday, Oct. 29, from 8 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 30, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., in Hellman Hall at St. Benedict Parish, 111 S. 9th St., Terre Haute.

Handmade craft and holiday decorations along with vegetable soup and ham sandwiches will be available.

Chili Fundraiser

The American Legion Riders will conduct a chili fundraiser for past, present and future veterans Oct 29, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at the V.F.W. Post 1127, Brazil.

One crockpot of chili is all it takes to enter the fundraiser in addition to a $5 registration fee.

Judging will begin at noon.

After judging is concluded, cost for all-you-can-eat chili will be $2.

Family Fun Night

The YMCA of Clay County will conduct a Fall Family Fun Night Saturday, from 4-6 p.m.

According to Y officials, Fall Family Fun Night is designed to be a fun and safe way for families to celebrate fall.

The event is open to all children, teens and adults in the community.

Admission is one non-perishable food item (or $1 per person), which will be donated to local food pantries.

Fish Fry

A benefit for Team Challenge Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America will have a Jonah Fish Fry Saturday, Oct. 29, from 4-7 p.m., at the Brazil Armory. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children. Hamburgers and hotdogs will also be available while supplies last.

Trunk or Treat

Staunton First Christian Church will conduct a Trunk or Treat Sunday at the church.

The event will take place from 7-8:30 p.m.
