In addition, Lunsford will conduct book signings at the Clinton Public Library Sunday, and the Paris, Ill., Public Library Thursday, Nov. 10.
Lunsford will be at Kadel's, 1800 Fort Harrison Rd., Terre Haute, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., as part of its annual Holiday Open House.
He will also be at the Clinton Public Library, 313 S. 4th St., from 4-6 p.m., as part of the library's Centennial Celebration. The author will then be at the Paris library, 207 S. Main St., at 6 p.m. (CST).
Lunsford, 55, is a teacher and writer from rural Parke County. His human-interest column, "The Off Season," is regularly published in the Terre Haute Tribune-Star.
He was recently named the Wabash Valley's top columnist in the annual Reader's Choice contest.
"A Place Near Home," is a collection of more than 59 of his best stories.
He will also make his first two books, "The Off Season: The Newspaper Stories of Mike Lunsford," from 2008, and "Sidelines: The Best of the Basketball Stories," released in 2009, available for sale.
Locally, Lunsford books are for sale at Kadel's, BookNation, Barnes and Noble Bookstore, Union Hospital Gift Shop and Sue's Hallmark.
