We have two homes for the home tour and still need two more. If you know of anyone interested please contact Larissa Goshen. The literacy project was discussed next and we will pick a book in January. Beef House roll order forms were passed out and will need to be turned in along with the money at November's meeting.

Roberta Weliever made a motion to sell the rolls, jam and apple butter at $8 apiece and Christy Casassa seconded it. Mary Yelton reported that the LEAPP Center won third place at the Community Expo and received $2,000 for their endowment fund.

New business was discussed next. A new service project was discussed and we may try to volunteer at a local nursing home and run a bingo night. If anyone has any other ideas for community service projects please bring them to the next meeting.

Our next meeting will be Nov. 7, at Cumberland Academy. Hostesses for November are Christy Casassa, Jaime Bell and April Lovett. November is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we are planning on having a guest speaker. The closing verse was recited and the meeting was adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
