Jack Lee Loveall, 59, Brazil, passed away at Seton Specialty Hospital, in Indianapolis, following a rather brief illness.
He was born in Clay County, March 16, 1952, the son of James Arthur "Art" and Mary Jane (Crabb) Loveall. Jack graduated from Staunton High School with the class of 1970. After high school he worked at several odd jobs and then landed a job with Andretti Firestone tire service in Indianapolis as a "tire buster." While in Indianapolis he met Janis Keeler who became his wife. She joined Jack in Brazil in 1983, and they were joined in marriage on June 24, 1985. Jack worked as an "electricians helper" for Paul and Harvey Gilbert at Western Indiana Electronics until their health failed and they closed their business. Soon after he worked for the City of Brazil as a janitor at City Hall and progressed to the street department as a laborer. After an unfortunate accident he disabled his left arm and was unable to continue working.
Jack enjoyed watching sports especially Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts and the Indiana University Hoosiers as well as tinkering with vehicles and especially enjoyed his wife's home cooking!
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Carl William "Bill" Loveall; brother in law Charles Miller.
He is survived by his wife Janis Loveall; daughter Tresa Loveall; and a son James Gregory Loveall; sisters Pat Lewis (Larry), Jewell Streeter (Jim), Carolyn Miller; brothers: Charles Loveall (Karen), Larry Joe Loveall (Becky), and Ron Loveall as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Memorial services will be held at Benwood Mt. Lebanon Church on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, at 2 p.m., with Pastor Dick McShanog officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to his family. Visit www.frenchfuneralhome.com to light a candle in his memory.
