Fred Everett Fagg

Fred Everett Fagg will be celebrating his 80th birthday with an open house on Monday, Nov. 21, from 6:30-9 p.m., at the Seelyville Town Hill.

Fred was born on Nov. 7, 1931 to Everett and Esther Fagg, and has one sister Wilma I. Modesitt.

He has been married to Sheila L. Fagg for 56 years. They have two daugthers Sheri L. Ring and husband Ed; and Cathie J. Bryant and husband Steve, and one son Gary W. Fagg and wife Laura.

Grandchildren are Micah Hay and husband Darin; Jason E. Ring, Chad E. Ring and wife Jennifer; Stacie L. Rehmel and husband Mike; Leslee A. McNeely and husband Brian; Linsee K. Bridgewater and husband Norman; Jeremy R. Fagg; and Rachel L. Fagg. Great-grandchildren are Allison, Abigail, and Alexis Sherrill, Mason Rehmel, and Olivia McNeely.

Fred served two years in the army in Korea from 1952-1954, then was co-owner of Fagg Oliver Sales on East State Road 42 from 1954-1982.

He worked for Federal Prison as a diesel instructor from 1984-1989; 1993-2010.

He worked at Cape Canaveral from 1989-1993 on the Titan Missle launch pad as a diesel pad mechanic.

He attend North Union EUB church on State Road 42 as a child, and is now a member of Cross Tabernacle Church since 1979 where he has served as a trustee and Deacon.
