No Paper Thursday
The Brazil Times will not publish a newspaper Thursday, Nov. 24, in observance of Thanksgiving Day.
However, The Times will publish a paper Tuesday, Nov. 22.

City Hall Closed
Brazil City Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday during Thanksgiving week.
In addition, the sanitation schedule will be on time with the exception of Thursday trash being picked up Friday.

The Clay County Republican Club will host its November meeting Monday, at the Clay County Senior Citizen's Center.
The meeting will be a pitch-in dinner with the theme of, "Celebrating Thankfulness."
Those interested in attending are asked to bring a covered dish to share and be prepared to tell something in which they are thankful for.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

The Staunton Community Center will have a coffee and donut break for the community on Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 9-11 a.m. Coffee will be .50 cents and donuts are $1.
Commissioners To Meet
The Clay County Commissioners have scheduled a special meeting for 10 a.m., Tuesday.
The meeting will take place in the Commissioner's Courtroom on the first floor of the Clay County Courthouse.
Approval of the Wallace Transfer Station will be under consideration during the meeting.
The Clay County Chamber of Commerce will conduct its monthly meeting Tuesday, Nov. 22, at noon, at St. Vincent Clay Hospital.
The guest speaker will be Clay County Community Corrections Program Director Mary Brown.

The Brazil Board of Public Works will meet at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 23, in City Hall Council Chambers.
General business will be discussed and the public is welcome to attend.
Council To Meet
The Carbon Town Council will conduct a special meeting at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, at Carbon Town Hall in regard to the contract with Commonwealth Engineers, Inc.
