Workshop set for Dec. 10

WEST TERRE HAUTE -- White Violet Center for Eco-Justice will host a class for beginning stained glass artistry with a concentration on the copper foil method Saturday, Dec. 10, at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

The class will begin at 9:30 a.m., and should end at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Instructors are Dave Rose and Bill Adams of Artisans Art Glass Studio in Terre Haute.

The workshop fee is $100, which includes lunch.

All tools, glass, metals, and assorted patterns are provided.

Participants will be able to learn the basic skills of design, glass cutting, foiling, assembly and soldering.

A small stained glass panel or suncatcher should be completed during the workshop.

The registration deadline for the class is Dec. 1.
