The Northview High School Color Guard will conduct a dance clinic Saturday, Dec. 3.
The event is for children ages kindergarten through eighth-grade. It will take place at Northview High School.
Cost is $23 to attend the clinic. The price includes a performance T-shirt.
Check in begins at 11:30 a.m., with classes starting at noon.
A show routine for parents will take place at 2:45 p.m.
According to Northview Color Guard officials, dance or gymnastic experience is not necessary to attend the clinic. Each grade level will be featured with a dance that is appropriate for their age group, and all ages are encouraged to attend.
Those attending will be asked to come back to the school at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, to review the routine and to perform during halftime of the Northview boys' varsity basketball game. Admission to the game is free for the performers.
Those attending the clinic are asked to wear shorts or sweat pants, a T-shirt and tennis shoes. For the performance, dancers are asked to wear black shorts, white socks, tennis shoes and the T-shirt provided.
