The following is a list of upcoming area events scheduled for today, Sunday and Monday as provided to The Brazil Times:

Breakfast With Santa

Santa Claus will visit the YMCA of Clay County Saturday, for his annual Breakfast With Santa event, which begins at 8:30 a.m., and concludes at 10:30.

Children who come to the event will have the opportunity to make Christmas cards and each child will receive a free goody bag and a picture with Santa.

Green Drive

The Green Corps, will host an electronics recycling drive Saturday at both Clay City and Northview high schools.

The drive at Clay City will take place from 9 a.m.-noon.

The drive at Northview will take place from 1-4 p.m.

Holiday Bazaar

The Holy Rosary Church annual Holiday Bazaar will take place Saturday, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

The event will take place at Schelly Hall on United States 40 east of the stoplight in Seelyville.

Home Tour Scheduled

The annual Tri Kappa Christmas Home Tour will take place Sunday, from 1-5 p.m.

Tickets are available at the main branch of Riddell National Bank or by calling 442-1300 or 448-9620.

Tickets cost $5 in advance or $7 at the door.

Christmas Play Set at Forest Park

Forest Park Elementary School will conduct its Christmas play, "The Year Without A Santa," today, at 7 p.m.

There is no cost to attend the event.

In addition, the school will conduct a performance at 12:30 p.m., for grandparents and family that are unable to make it to the evening show Monday.

Meeting Set

The Clay County Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, in the lower level of the museum.

The guest speaker will be Donald Layton, retired history professor from Indiana State University.
