Sam Glover, who is part of the choir, said the musical cantata will take place Sunday, Dec. 18, at 8 p.m., in Brazil Nazarene Church, which is located at 1002 E. National Ave.
According to Glover, the cantata will be directed by Charlotte Pickett, with Marilyn Burdsall serving as the accompanist.
Glover said the performance will benefit the community food bank.
"An offering will be taken for the community food bank," Glover said, "and people can also bring non-perishable food items."
Glover said admission is free and the cantata will last about an hour, with the main goal being to give back to the community.
"We want to raise money (and supplies) for the food bank, which is a way for the theatre people to give back to the community," Glover said.
