Wednesday, December 14, 2011

A Brazil man finds himself behind bars after he allegedly stabbed another man four times at The Bounty Lounge, 20 E. National Ave., Brazil, early Wednesday morning.

Benjamin Johnson, 36, Brazil, is being held in the Clay County Justice Center and charged with aggravated battery causing serious bodily injury after an altercation with Blake Mullenix.

According to Brazil City Police Chief Larry Pierce, officers Beau McKinney and Johnny Bohnert responded to a call they received at approximately 2:15 a.m., Wednesday.

"They (bar patrons) pointed out a man who was visually upset," Pierce said, "and a female who was standing over another male."

Pierce added that Mullenix was playing pool when Johnson approached him "talking out of his head."

Mullenix told Police that Johnson was telling him about other criminal activities he'd committed involving children.

According to a police report, Mullenix suffered four puncture wounds to the lower back.

He was taken to Clay County Hospital but was later transferred to a hospital in Terre Haute.

"The incident is still under investigation," Pierce said.

He actually had 3 in his back, one on his side and one in his abdomen. That makes 5, right?

yeah it does but it depends on who is doing the counting...The Doctors who really know what they are doing...or the some.... so called Law Enforcement Officers You all Have Over There to represent your County! They don't hold a very good reputation in how they treat their inmates at the jail either...bt that too is all done behind closed doors and a big cover up.....
