No Longer In Service
Officials with the Wesley Chapel Food Pantry recently announced they will no longer conduct monthly food pantry events.

The Poland Fire Protection Territory Board will conduct a public meeting Jan. 25, Feb. 22, and March 28, at 7 p.m., each evening.
The meeting will take place at the Poland Fire Station, 3962 N. Bowling Green-Poland Rd., Poland.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend the meetings.
The Harmony Town Council will conduct its meetings on the first Tuesday of each month.
Meetings will take place at the Harmony Community Center at 7 p.m.
All are welcome to attend the meetings.
Bee Ridge Church will host an all-you-can-eat pancake/sausage breakfast Saturday, Jan. 21, from 7-10 a.m., at the church, 10100 N. Kennedy Crossing Rd., Brazil.
There is no cost for the breakfast, but a freewill offering will be accepted.
All proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the new church building program for Bee Ridge.

The Indiana Blood Center will host a blood drive at the Brazil National Guard Armory Jan. 21, 2012, from noon-3 p.m.
The blood center hosts hundreds of drives each month.

Local author Marjorie E. Hopkins will conduct a book signing event Saturday, Jan. 21, from 1-3 p.m., at Java Haute, 3805 Wabash Ave., Terre Haute.
Hopkins will be available to sign copies of her novel, "Dying to Meet Him: Wit and Wisdom from a Funeral Director's Wife."
The Northview High School Big Brother/Big Sister program will sponsor a Zumbathon Saturday, Jan. 21, from 1-3 p.m., at North Clay Middle School.
The event will take place to raise money for the organization.
Cost is $10.
Parking will be allowed in the front of North Clay and doors open at 12:30 p.m.
The Clay County Commissioners will conduct a special meeting Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m., in the Commissioner's Courtroom of the Clay County Courthouse.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider the release of road bonds and the not-for-profit 4-H contract.
Chamber Meeting Set
The Clay County Chamber of Commerce will meet at noon, Tuesday, Jan. 24, at St. Vincent Clay Hospital.
The speaker for the event will be Brazil Mayor Brian Wyndham, who will discuss future plans for the City of Brazil.
Cost for lunch is $7 for members and $10 for non-members.

The Lady Volunteers of Staunton will sponsor a community dinner Friday, Jan. 27, from 4-7 p.m., at the Staunton Community Center.
The dinner will consist of chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, dinner rolls and dessert, along with coffee, tea or lemonade.
Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children 10-under.
All proceeds will benefit the Staunton Community Center.
